Creating an Account

To create an account on the platform, follow these steps.

  1. Go to https://communitypower.energy.gov/ and click on the "Sign Up" button on the upper right corner of the page. You can also click on the "Join the Accelerator" button on the home page.

  2. Check the “I Accept” box once you have read the legal agreement on the intended uses of the platform. Then click on “Sign Up.”

  1. On the next page, you can sign in with your LinkedIn credentials or choose your username, enter your email address and a password, and click on “Sign Up.”

  1. If you signed up with an email address, you will receive an email from no-reply@verificationemail.com to activate your account. Enter the verification code and click on “Confirm account.”

  2. Congratulations! Your account is now activated. You will be taken to the "Setting Up" page.

  3. You can continue setting up your profile by filling out the details on the page. For help on creating a project or an organizational profile, see other sections of the CPA platform assistance.
