Creating or Joining an Organization

  1. Creating a new organizational account
    1. As you create your account, you will be guided through directions on each page to help you create an organizational profile on the platform. To add your organization to the platform, click on "Create New Organization."

b. You will be asked to choose your role on the platform. If you are a lender, investor, philanthropy, or a green bank, choose the "Capital Provider" option. If you are a developer, a non-profit, or a community-based organization, choose the "Developer" option.

c. Clicking on "Organization Onboarding" will guide you through steps to set up your organizational profile.

d. Once you complete your organization profile, click on "Finish and Submit Organization" to send your profile for our team to verify. A representative will review your organization within 7-10 business days. Changes to the Organization Profile are saved automatically, and any updates made during the 7-10 day review period will restart the review timeline. Once you're verified, you can start discovering other organizations. You should receive an email from no-reply@mail.americanmadechallenges.org to confirm your submission.

e. You can click on "Dashboard" anytime to see the features available on the platform after verification. If you are a Developer, You can begin creating projects and portfolios, but nothing will be discoverable until after verification.

  1. Joining an existing organizational account
    1. As you create your account, you will be guided through directions on each page to help you create an organizational profile on the platform. Search for your organization. Your organization's account will show up in the drop box only if it has been created by another representative from your organization.

b. Once you select your organization and click on "Submit," your request will be sent to your organizational admin on the platform to approve your request to join. Once your admin approves, you will be able to access other features of the platform.

  1. To see all the features available, click on "Go to Dashboard."
